GLOVE IS EVERY WHERE
  • GLOVE IS EVERYWHERE
    A PERSONAL PHOTO PROJECT
  • When you’re a glove, the world can be a cold, lonely place. One day, you’re on top of the world. You’re necessary. You’re making deals and shaking hands and hailing cabbies and flipping people off. The world is at your hand-tooledleather, sheepskin-lined fingertips. Literally. Next thing you know, you’re in the gutter wondering what happened. Someone takes your place. And the world goes on. Like you were never there. In other words, glove stinks.

I began taking pictures of lost, lonely gloves in February of 2011. I posted them on Facebook and some of my friends started seeing lost, lonely gloves everywhere they looked, too. They even took pictures and sent them to me. Glove in an elevator. Glove on the rocks. Yes, it turned out that glove really was all around us. So now I carry my camera with me everywhere I go.

Might as well face it. I’m addicted to glove.
